What does "you are not allowed to participate in xbox live game sessions" mean?

Trying to play Ghostbusters on Xbox live, keep receiving this message:



"you are not allowed to participate in xbox live game sessions"



With no further information. I have a legit xbox with an Xbox Live Silver membership. Any ideas?What does "you are not allowed to participate in xbox live game sessions" mean?
look man u have to have gold membership to play games and some demos so i would go out and but a gold xbox live card u can get it at any store selling xbox stuff there r 3 kinds there the 1 mouth thats like $9 the 3 mouth $22 and the 1 yr $ 55 last time i checked

Only the paid subscribers (Xbox Live Gold) can play multi-player over the internet. The free online members (Xbox Live Silver) can go online with their Xbox 360, but only to watch videos, download demos, or purchase games or game add-ons with Live Points (those also need to be bought seperately).
