a regualr 360 is about $350-$400 elite are usually about $100 more. the elite has a much bigger memory on it. if you are going to have saved games, music, pictures and demos on your 360 you should get the elite. if you are getting it to play games and some demos the regular will be just fine.

i forgot what they cost now since microsoft dropped the cost, but the elite has a 120 gig hard drive (opposed to 20 in the normal one) and then it has better HD output (i think like HDMI or something, i dont know) but yeah, thats about it...oh yeah, and i think it has a little bit more RAM (so it would run faster--thats just what ive heard...so not totally sure on that)
