I can sign into xbox live via xbox dashboard. Then when i get to a game, such as guitar hero 3, I try and do a custom match with somebody, then the loading screen stays up for a long time, and then i get disconnected. I know its not an ethernet problem because my computer works at the same time and they are connected to the same LAN.My Xbox 360 Live Works for a little bit, and then disconnects, how do i fix?

I think it's microsoft because they have either been trying do the "new experience" or there trying to fix something.
