We recently hooked up our xbox to xbox live and I want to know what the percentage of predators (bad people, not some kind of alien :) are on xbox live. I don't need an exact number, and if no one knows, maybe you could find, like, how many more there are on there than on youtube or something like that. Well......what your asking, while a good and reasonable question, is in reality not quite answerable. Yes it's the truth there are some predators on the internet (consoles too now apparently), but there are ways you can avoid them, different consoles have different ways of taking care of that. The xbox will let you hear others voices if you have a headset as well, depending on the game, and as for messaging? you have the option to block this user so you can no longer be harassed. also, if someone asks for your account info to download things off of your console, DO NOT do it. This is most likely a link to a virus, that the creator can use to strip you of everything you bought and downloaded and make your console crash. If you physically know the person however, (really really well), it's still a good idea to call that person. just follow these guidelines and you should be just fine. besides, in the end, you can always play on another channel, or kick them if you're the host. just use common sense, and above all, have fun.What is the percentage of predators on xbox?
Im 15 iv'e played on xbox live since i was 11 . I have found not one predator . im telling you the numbers are low i'd guess 5% or less and this is from my experience as well as pretty much anyone on this site.

It's a game system they have no way of finding you on it it's much more secure than internet on computers.
