If you JUST have a modem, you'll also need a router to split your internet signal between your current computer and your xbox. If you get a wireless router, you could get a wireless network adapter for your xbox. They are about $100. Well you could either run a really long cable through your house or you could drill a hole for the cable to link them through the wall. I don't know if the regular xbox has wireless but if you can get a wireless attachment then you could set up a wireless system.
