Can I switch my xbox subscription to xbox live to an xbox 360?

If i get a 360 can i switch my gamertag from xbox to xbox 360? if yes then how?Can I switch my xbox subscription to xbox live to an xbox 360?
Yes, ok this is what you have to do. It's easy all you have to do is go to the xbox live menu and press sign in. then recover gamertag. then you enter your email and your password/ microsoft ID stuff. then Just like put remeber password and stuff and thats it. basically just like signing in.
