I want to buy one and play old games that do not work on the 360, but my parents would freak out if I bought another game system.so the best aproach seems to hide it. dont give me that buy a 360 bs because i have one i love it, but i still want an original xbox. the xbox was my first game system, and i want one again. thanks.What is a good place to hide an original xbox?

Really buying an original Xbox doesn't make any sense. There is a huge number of games that can be played on the 360 from the original Xbox. All you have to do is put one in and be connected to the internet to download the update. (You don't even need a Gold account!)
