Can anyone tell me the difference between an Xbox/Xbox 360?

I am looking to purchase a slightly used XBOX with 17 games in good condition with controller and a carrying case for $100, can anyone tell me what I can and can't do compared to the 360, or what the heck is the difference? ( I've only owned Playstations )Can anyone tell me the difference between an Xbox/Xbox 360?
There really is no way to list all the ways that it is different. In short, it is a completely different console with different games, different capabilities, just about everything besides the name of the system is different.Can anyone tell me the difference between an Xbox/Xbox 360?
Well, the original Xbox was released in 2001, which seems like ages ago now. Graphics are all right, it does have Xbox Live capabilities, but there has been a lot of games released since the 360 came out you can't play on an Xbox. The Xbox 360, which was released in 2005, has superior storage, audio and video capabilities compared to the original Xbox, and I think the controller is more comfortable in your hand (not as bulky). If you are looking for something you can just play a few games on when you're bored without spending too much, I'd say get the original Xbox. If you want to be able to play tons of games, online or off, be able to watch movies, play music, share photos, and so many other things, get a 360, new or used. The newest 360 has a 250GB hard drive, won't over heat, and is Wifi ready for online gaming. And it has a sleek new design and glossy black finish. All in all, 360's are about ten thousand times better than an original Xbox, but get what you think suits your needs best.

And you can actually play a few original Xbox games on a 360, but I'm not sure which aside from Fable, so guy below me, they aren't completely different.Can anyone tell me the difference between an Xbox/Xbox 360?
What?!.....What?! Like how do you not know the difference between them?? I'm a pretty nice looking girl and I know the difference. I love my xbox 360.

As far as I know they don't make xbox anymore....heck they even stopped making the older xbox 360 cause they came out with a better one. But I guess if you are looking at both of them...go for 360. There are no games that are being made for regular xbox.



Oh and a game that you should definitely get is: Modern Warefare 2. That game is amazing =)

no HD support, games are less then satisfactory for viewing. It is a dinosaur. The xbox 360 is just better with newer and better games
