Halo 3 is an Xbox 360 game.... So you use your xbox live account
Halo 2 is a Xbox game that I think can play on xbox live. But as far as I know it uses the same xbox live account.
Now I'm not sure if they have everything that has Halo 2 on 360 playing together and everybody with halo 2 and just the xbox playing together or if they actually go across machines?
