Im in the basement and my router is upstairs. almost all my computers are on wireless so if i get wireless for my xbox 360 the connection will be too slow. is there any way i can use my computer as an interface point for my xbox to recieve xbox live? How do i hook up my Xbox360 to my computer to get xbox live?
If your computer is hooked up to the wired network, you can either purchase a switch (needs to have at least 2 ports) to split the connection before it enters your computer, or, if you're more tech savvy, you can buy another network card for your computer. This will enable you to plug your 360 into your computer, and both your 360 and computer will be able to access the internet. The 360 data travels to the computer, and the computer then re-transmits it across the network out to the internet.

If your computer is on wirelessly, and you want to use your computer's wireless connection to play the 360, you just have to plug the xbox into the computer, go to wireless network properties, and under the advanced tab click the box that says "allow users connected to the network to use this computer's internet connection." This will have the 360 send data to the computer which will then send it wirelessly across the network. How do i hook up my Xbox360 to my computer to get xbox live?

Lol You Can't Like That Connect Internet Wire To Router To Your 360 Or Get a Wireless For It Which Goes In The USB Which Cost 拢65 GBP
